DISCUSSION:
The Humboldt County Measure Z Citizens’ Advisory Committee has a vacancy for an At-Large member due to the sudden loss of member Rich Ames.
A Notice of Vacancy per the Boards Protocol dated July 31, 2018 has been posted. Unless the Clerk of the Board is notified, not more than three days prior nor more than seven days subsequent to the date of this meeting or a desire to calendar this matter for further discussion, any Board member may bring forward an item to consider appointment of any qualified person to fill the vacancy. Under the Maddy Act terms, the soonest date on which an appointment may occur is February 23, 2021.
Currently there are two (2) vacancies for At-Large Members.
