RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Adopt the attached resolution which authorizes the Humboldt County District Attorney, the Humboldt County Auditor-Controller and the County Administrative Office, and/or designees thereof, to execute any and all applications, agreements, amendments, modifications, certifications, attestations and other documents necessary to apply for, accept and administer funding made available by the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services through the Violence Against Women Vertical Prosecution Program during the period of January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2028; and
2. Approve the attached supplemental budget for fiscal year 2024-2025 in the amount of One Hundred Three Thousand One Hundred Ninety-One Dollars ($103,191.00) for budget unit 1100-208 (4/5 Vote Required); and
3. Direct the Clerk of the Board to return one (1) fully executed certified copy of the attached resolution to the District Attorney's Office for submission to the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services.
