RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Adopt the attached resolution which authorizes the Department of Health and Human Services - Behavioral Health Director, or a designee thereof, to execute a Zero Cost Vehicle Lease Agreement with the California Department of Health Care Services for the Period of July 1, 2025 Through June 30, 2031; and
1. Direct the Clerk of the Board to return one (1) fully executed certified copy of the attached resolution to the Department of Health and Human Services - Behavioral Health Administration for submission to the California Department of Health Care Services.

DISCUSSION:
The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) awarded the County of Humboldt by and through its Department of Health and Human Services - Behavioral Health ("DHHS - Behavioral Health") a Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP) Round 1 grant for the period of September 1, 2021 through June 30, 2025 in the amount of Nine Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand Sixty-Two Dollars and Fifty-One Cents ($985,062.51) to equip Behavioral Health Crisis Care Mobile Units (CCMU) with resources that improve health outcomes and decrease unnecessary use of jails and emergency services.
