DISCUSSION:
Dr. Abby Abinanti was the first tribal woman to pass the state bar and become a judge in California. Dr. Abinanti has been selected by Senate Majority Leader Mike McGuire as the 2023 North Coast Woman of the Year. The Board of Supervisors would like to recognize Dr. Abinanti for her outstanding achievements and contributions to the people of Humboldt County and the State of California.
