RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Adopt the attached resolution which authorizes the Humboldt County Purchasing Agent, and/or designees thereof, to execute State of California Standard Agreement Nos. 0000000364 and 0000000390 with the California Employment Development Department, and any amendments thereto, along with any and all other agreements, certifications, attestations and documents required or deemed necessary or appropriate for the Humboldt County District Attorney's Office to accept and secure the provision and receipt of certain employment records for the purpose of conducting felony crime and Workers' Compensation Fraud investigations; and
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board to provide the Humboldt County District Attorney's Office with one (1) fully executed certified copy of the attached resolution for submission to the State...B

DISCUSSION:
The Humboldt County District Attorney's Office requests certain employment records from the California Employment Development Department pursuant to California Unemployment Insurance Code Sections 1095(i) and 1095(o) for the purpose of conducting felony crime and Workers' Compensation Fraud investigations. Execution of State of California Standard Agreement Nos. 0000000364 and 0000000390 will allow for the electronic transfer of employment records from the California Employment Development Department to the Humboldt County District Attorney's Office Investigation for the period of October 1, 2022...
