RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Adopt the attached resolution authorizing the acting Humboldt County, Director of Aviation, or a designee thereof, to execute any and all documents necessary to secure and accept the attached Grant Offer for AIP Grant No. 3-06-0092-014-2024 in the amount of Two Hundred $247,037.00, once received;
2. Authorize the acting Director of Aviation, or a designee thereof, to execute amendments to AIP Grant No. 3-06-0092-014-2024 after review by County Counsel, Risk Management, and the County Administrative Office;
3. Receive and file the bids for Garberville Airport (O16) Runway 18/36, Taxiways, and Apron Rehabilitation, Project Number AV-2024-02;
4. Award the contract to C.R. Contracting, LLC, for the total amount of $178,696.35;
5. Authorize the acting Director of Aviation, or a designee thereof, to execute a Construction Project Agreement that is substantially similar to the sample agreement attached hereto with C.R. Contracting, LLC, for an amount not to exceed $178,696.35, upon submittal of the appropriate bonds and insurance and approval of Risk Management;
6. Authorize the acting Director of Aviation, or a designee thereof, to execute construction contract change orders up to the amount of $17,870.00; and
7. Authorize the acting Director of Aviation, or a designee thereof, to execute the Professional Services Agreement with Armstrong Consultants, Inc. for Garberville Airport (O16) Runway 18/36, Taxiways, and Apron Reh...
