Adoption of 2015 State and Federal Legislative Platforms
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors adopt the proposed State and federal legislative platforms as the final platforms for 2015; reaffirm State and Federal advocacy priorities as revised; direct the County Administrative Officer to submit the final version of the State legislative platform to Governor Jerry Brown, Assembly Member Jim Wood, State Senator Mike McGuire, California State Association of Counties, Rural County Representatives of California and Peterson Consulting; and direct the County Administrative Officer to submit the final version of the legislative platform to all necessary legislative representatives and appropriate advocates.
