Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Consider a modification to the Board Meeting Schedule for Calendar Year 2020 in response to the Covid-19 emergency; and
2. Make other modifications as necessary.

DISCUSSION:
On Nov. 5, 2019 your Board adopted the Board meeting schedule for calendar year 2020. On March 3, 2020 your Board further modified your schedule by cancelling the Board meeting scheduled for the week of May 11. Your Board may want to consider further modifications to your meeting schedule to allow county staff time to respond to the Covid-19 emergency and conduct county business. A proposed modified schedule is attached for the months of April, May and June. Scheduling meetings a year in advance, as your Board did in November, can present future scheduling conflicts, particularly during a declared emergency, and may require your Board to make adjustments to the meeting schedule throughout the year.
