That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Appoint Zach Cahill to the Humboldt County Resource Conservation District.

DISCUSSION:
On April 1, 2020, the Clerk of the Board’s office received notification that Sandra Dale has resigned from the HCRCD Board. In compliance with the Maddy Act, the vacancy was posted and per the Board’s Protocol for the Board of Supervisors appointments, the Board was notified of the vacancy on May 5, 2020 meeting.
The Board of Supervisor’s office received a letter dated April 20, 2020 from the HCRCD Board recommending the appointment of Zach Cahill to fill the vacancy. Mr. Cahill’s application and resume are attached.
Supervisor Rex Bohn is now recommending that Mr. Cahill be appointed to fill this vacancy for the remainder of the term. Mr. Cahill’s term expiration date would be November 2022.
