RECOMMENDATION(S):

Recommendation

That the Board of Supervisors:

1.                     Adopt the resolution and direct the Clerk of the Board to return a fully executed copy of the resolution to Six Rivers Running Club.

DISCUSSION:

The Six Rivers Running Club is planning its 43rd Annual Humboldt Redwoods Half Marathon and 5K Run to be held on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The resolution authorizing the road closures is the first step in the running club’s permitting process.  The club is asking the Board of Supervisors adopt the attached resolution.   

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

There is no financial impact to adopting the attached resolution.
