RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Adopt Ordinance No. _________ (Attachment 1), Incorporating by Reference Appendix O of the 2019 California Building Code, and Appendix X of the 2019 California Residential Code to Section 331-11 of Chapter 1, Division 3 of Title III of the Humboldt County Code Relating to Emergency Housing Standards.

SOURCE OF FUNDING:
Staff costs and noticing for these amendments is grant-funded through the SB2 program awarded in 2020.
DISCUSSION:
On June 7, 2022 the Board of Supervisors introduced the above-referenced ordinance for adoption, with a directive to the Clerk of the Board to publish a pre-adoption summary of the ordinance and set the ordinance for adoption at least one week later. This action completes the adoption of the ordinance and will result in publication of a post-adoption summary.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is negligible financial impact to legally-required publication of the ordinance, which can be covered by existing budget appropriations.
