DISCUSSION:
Supervisor Madrone would like to recognize and thank the generous community partners who helped with the Westhaven Community Safety Project.
Operating Engineers Local 3 helped coordinate the donated services, Mercer Fraser Company donated the asphalt mix for the speed humps, Granite Construction installed the speed humps, and the Humboldt County Department of Public Works helped with engineering, site logistics and design, traffic control and signage.
Together they completed the much-needed safety improvements at Sixth Ave. in Westhaven.

General Fund
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no financial impact to presenting the certificates. However, there is significant savings to the County for the generous donations from Mercer Frasier Company and Granite Construction.
