DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors would like to honor the contributions made by Asian American and Pacific Islanders by proclaiming May 2023 as “Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month” in Humboldt County and pay tribute to the generations of Asian and Pacific Islanders who have enriched America's history and are instrumental in its future success.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no financial impact to the General Fund.
STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK:
The recommended action supports the Board of Supervisors’ Strategic Framework by providing community-appropriate levels of service.
