Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Authorize the Chair to sign the resolution; and
2. Send a fully executed resolution to the Executive Director of the Southern Humboldt Chamber and Visitors Center at chamber@garberville.org.

DISCUSSION:
The Southern Humboldt Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center has requested the Board of Supervisors pass a resolution, required by Caltrans, authorizing the closure of portions of Locust Street, Melville Road, Redwood Drive and Conger Street on June 27,2026 from 11 a.m. to noon for the annual Garberville Rodeo Parade.

General Fund
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is minimal financial impact to the county for this traffic resolution, consisting mostly of staff time to close and re-open the road.
