RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve donating a 2025 Dodge Durango (FA0000029581) and 2025 Ford F150 (FA0000029582) purchased by the Opioid Settlement Fund for the Sheriff's Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Program to county Motor Pool for capitalization, maintenance, and insurance purposes.

DISCUSSION:
In fiscal year 2025-26, the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) has approved funding from the Opioid Settlement Fund for a POP program. The funding included the purchase of two vehicles to be used by the POP Sheriff Deputies. HCSO is requesting the vehicles be donated to county Motor Pool for capitalization, maintenance, and insurance.
