RECOMMENDATION(S):

Recommendation

That the Board of Supervisors:

1.                     Adopt the resolution and direct the Clerk of the Board to return a fully executed copy of the resolution to Six Rivers Running Club.

DISCUSSION:

The Six Rivers Running Club is planning its 43rd Annual Humboldt Redwoods Half Marathon and 5K Run to be held on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2 p.m. The resolution authorizing the road closures is the first step in the running club’s permitting process.  The club is asking the Board of Supervisors to adopt the attached resolution.   

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

There is no financial impact to adopting the attached resolution.
