RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors adopt Resolution No.--____ (Attachment 1) authorizing the Sheriff on behalf of the Board of Supervisors to submit the grant proposal for the JAG program and if awarded, authorizes the Sheriff to accept the grant funds and sign any documents required by Board of State and Community Corrections for participation in the grant program; and authorize the Chairperson to execute the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs financial management system questionnaire that is required as part of the JAG application (Attachment 2).
