DISCUSSION:
Each year the Humboldt County Fish and Game Advisory Committee (HCFGAC) awards grant funding from their share of the state Fish and Wildlife code violation fine revenues to deserving local projects. The request for proposal (RFP) is attached for reference and the funding supports projects offering education about, or protection, conservation, propagation, preservation of fish and wildlife in Humboldt County. This year there is approximately $9,000 for distribution. Please note that the RFPs are due on July 13, 2022.
