DISCUSSION:

On April 18, 2023, the Board of Supervisors received a letter from the Chair of the Fish and Game Advisory Commission (F&GAC) regarding the need to retain public access to our rivers and coastal areas as they provide Humboldt County residents with outstanding opportunities to hunt and fish.  On behalf of the F&GAC, Board Member Bruce Cann would like to address the Board regarding this issue and in detail focus on the attempt to vacate the southern portion of Fisher Road in Hydesville, California. 

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

There is no financial impact to hear the information report from the advisory commission.
