DISCUSSION:
A vacancy occurred on the Fortuna Fire Protection Board of Commissioners after the sudden loss of Dave Nicholson. The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors is the governing and appointing body for the District Board and has been asked to appoint Glen Senestraro to fill the vacancy.
This appointment is excluded from the At-Large appointment protocol dated March 23, 2021, per Section 4. District Recommended At-Large Appointment Protocol.
