DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors and the Department of Health & Human Services wish to recognize Eligibility Specialist III Mike Hendriks upon his retirement after 21 years of dedicated service to the County of Humboldt.
During his tenure, Hendriks served in multiple eligibility roles, provided invaluable support as the Disability Determination Service Division Liaison and played a key role in training more than 400 new Eligibility Specialists. His knowledge, mentorship and positive presence have left a lasting impact on both the department and the community.
The Board of Supervisors thanks Hendriks for his service and wishes him well in his retirement.
