Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Appoint a County Delegate and County Alternate to participate in the NACO annual election of officers and policy adoption and complete the NACO 2019 Credentials Voting Form online.

DISCUSSION:
NACO is preparing for their Annual Conference in Adam County, Colorado, and it is important that counties participate in the association’s annual election of officers and policy adoption.
Humboldt County is a member of NACO and Supervisor Bohn and Supervisor Bass are both registered to attend the NACO Conference in July 2022, making the county eligible to participate in the annual election of officers and policy adoption. The Board of Supervisors needs to appoint a County Delegate and County Alternate to be able to pick up the ballot and cast Humboldt County’s vote at the annual conference.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Travel expenses for the NACO Conference were included in the Proposed Fiscal Year 2022-23 budget in the Board of Supervisors budget (budget unit 1100-101), and the recommended action does not have any additional impact on the General Fund.
