DISCUSSION:
There have been two vacancies on the HTFHSC for several months. One At-Large position is for a community member. The other vacancy is for a member representing the homeless population. There is concern from the committee that these unfilled positions could lead to a quorum issue.
A Notice of Vacancy per the Board’s Protocol has been posted. Unless the Clerk of the Board is notified during today’s meeting of a desire to calendar this matter for further discussion on a date specific, the Clerk of the Board’s office will bring an appointment agenda item four weeks from today’s meeting. That item will be a departmental discussion agenda item on March 15, 2022.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Approval of this agenda item results in no impact to the General Fund beyond staff time spent developing the staff report.
