That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Authorize the Chair to sign the Retirement Resolution; and
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board to send the proclamation to the Professional Building, 507 F St., Eureka, Attention: Christine Messinger.

DISCUSSION:
The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors recognizes Karen Umberger for her many years of dedicated service and extends its sincere appreciation for her lasting contributions to the community. The Board warmly wishes Umberger a fulfilling and enjoyable retirement.
