Professional Clinical Education Affiliation Agreement with Capella University, LLC Regarding the Placement of Student Interns at Various Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) – Behavioral Health Facilitiesend
RECOMMENDATION(S):Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve, and authorize the DHHS – Behavioral Health Director, or a designee thereof, to execute, the attached professional clinical education affiliation agreement with the Capella University, LLC regarding the placement of student interns at various DHHS – Behavioral Health facilities for the period of Oct. 6, 2026, through June 30, 2027, and any and all subsequent amendments thereto, after review and approval by County Counsel, Risk Management and the County Administrative Office; and
2. Authorize the DHHS – Behavioral Health Director, or a designee thereof, to execute student placement agreements that are substantially similar to the attached professional clinical education affiliation agreement with Capella University, LLC, and any and all subsequent amendments thereto, after review and approval by County Counsel, Risk Management and the County Administrative Office; and
3. Direct the Clerk of the Board to provide the DHHS – Contract Unit with one fully executed electronic copy of the certified Board order related to this Item.
