DISCUSSION:
In the last budget cycle (fiscal year 2019-2020), the Human Rights Commission received funding from the county’s General Fund to assist ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking within Humboldt County. Representatives from the Human Rights Commission (Lelehnia DuBois, Katrina Taylor and Eddie Morgan) will provide a short update on where funding has been spent and the overall impacts of the Commission’s efforts as it relates to fighting human trafficking.
