That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Appoint Sylvia Derooy to the Humboldt County Housing Authority.

DISCUSSION:
The Humboldt County Housing Authority Commission has asked the Board of Supervisor to reappoint Sylvia Derooy to the commission representing the tenant membership in the attached letter dated November 25, 2025. Sylvia’s term ended on November 7, 2025, and she would like to continue serving her community. This appointment would be for a two-year term with an end date of December 16, 2027.
Any member appointed to the Humboldt County Housing Authority is required to comply with California Fair Political Practices Form 700 requirements as week as completing ethics training every two years.
