DISCUSSION:
The Humboldt County Planning Commission has one scheduled at-large vacancy due to the term expiration of Lorna McFarlane on Jan. 31, 2026.
A vacancy notice has been posted per the Board of Supervisors protocol. A separate agenda item will be brought back on Jan. 20, 2026, for the consideration of appointments.
Applications are available at the Clerk of the Board’s office or by emailing COB@co.humboldt.ca.us.
All appointed members of the Humboldt County Planning Commission are required to comply with California Fair Political Practices Form 700 requirements as well as completing AB1234 Ethics Training every two years.
