DISCUSSION:
Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Social Services Branch has requested the Board of Supervisors recognize Elder Abuse Awareness Month with a proclamation. The Board of Supervisors would like to honor this request.
The DHHS Social Services Branch and the Board encourage all Humboldt County residents to recognize that elders are valuable members of society and have the right to live safely and securely in their communities.
