That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Adopt the proclamation.

DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors would like to proclaim October 2022 as Breast Cancer Awareness month and encourages all community members to discuss prevention and early detection measures with their health care providers. The Board further extends their compassion to all those affected by this disease including the patients and their families while thanking the health care providers for their services helping all those coping with this cancer.
