RECOMMENDATION(S):

Recommendation

That the Board of Supervisors:

1.                     Declare one (1) 1989 Ed’s Head MMT.10, equipment number 94401, vehicle identification number (VIN) 1M9K17103LA069022 trailer surplus;

2.                     Authorize the Purchasing Agent to dispose of the surplus property; and

3.                     Deposit any proceeds from the sale in the Roads Maintenance Budget (1200 325).

DISCUSSION:

The Public Works Road Department declared the 1989 Ed’s Head MMT.10, equipment number 94401, VIN 1M9K17103LA069022, trailer as damaged beyond repair. This item is no longer any use to the county and should be declared surplus and placed into the next auction.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Proceeds from the sale of the surplus trailer will be deposited in the Roads Maintenance, fund 1200, budget unit 325. There is no impact to the General Fund.
