DISCUSSION:
As members of the broader Offshore Wind Ad Hoc Committee, Supervisor Wilson and Supervisor Arroyo will be attending the Pacific Offshore Wind Summit in Sacramento the week of May 7th and unable to attend the May 9th Board Meeting. In addition, Supervisor Bohn will be traveling to Butte County for the Annual Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC) Board Meeting, and will need to leave early to accommodate travel time.
As there are no scheduled Public Hearings on May 9, 2023 and the proposed Board agenda for May 9th is fairly light, the Board is being asked to consider cancelling the May 9th meeting.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no financial impact to cancelling this meeting.
