Compliance Updating of the County of Humboldt 401(a) Money Purchase Plan
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors adopt Board Resolution No. _____ (Attachment 1) to approve and adopt the revised Money Purchase Plan Adoption Agreement for bringing the County of Humboldt 401(a) Plan into compliance with all interim legislative amendments (e.g., the Pension Protection Act of 2006 (PPA)) and requirements specified in other applicable IRS guidance since the last IRS required restatement; review the attached Governmental Volume Submitter Money Purchase Plan Adoption Agreement (Attachment 2) and Authorize the Treasurer-Tax Collector, as Plan Administrator of the 401(a), to sign the agreement on behalf of the County; and review the Summary Plan Description for the Humboldt County 401(a) Plan dated 1-1-2016 (Attachment 3).
