DISCUSSION:

Each year the Truckers’ Christmas Parade in December is a large community event supported by both the private and public sectors.  This event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, in Eureka.  Humboldt County Public Works employees are requesting approval to enter county-owned equipment numbers 22616, 94140, and 93868 in the parade.  Employees will volunteer their time to decorate and drive the county equipment in the parade and pay all entry fees.  The employees feel this will be beneficial to the parade attendees as well as beneficial to the morale of the employees.
