DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors would like to proclaim the week of October 30 - November 5, 2022, as Childhood Cancer Awareness Week in Humboldt County. Childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease among children between infancy and age 15. By recognizing and promoting awareness, more research and investment in saving our children can be obtained. The Board of Supervisors applaud the outreach and efforts of Kids Cancer Connection, Inc. and all those helping our children.
