DISCUSSION:
Adoption of this proclamation allows the Board of Supervisors to recognize the Sheriff’s Citizens on Patrol (SCOP) volunteers for their significant contributions to public safety and community engagement. Many SCOP members, including Barry Jensen and Laurie Rice, have each dedicated more than a decade of service, and recently retired members are also being honored for their lasting commitment. This recognition highlights the important role of volunteerism and community partnerships in Humboldt County.
