1. Adopt the Retirement Resolution for Jay’ne McCain.

DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors and the Public Works Department would like to recognize Jay’ne McCain on her retirement from the County of Humboldt, after 44 outstanding years of dedicated service spanning multiple departments. In 1979, Jay’ne started her career with the County of Humboldt in the Building Inspections Department. From there she moved to the Public Health Department, County Buildings Department, and General Services. In 2005, General Services transferred in the Public Works Department and became Facility Management Division. This level of dedication is rare, and the Public Works Department wishes to acknowledge Jay’ne McCain’s commitment to our county.
