RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Appoint a Delegate and Alternate to the RCRC Board of Directors, Golden State Finance Authority, and Golden State Connect Authority for calendar year 2023; and
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board to notify RCRC staff member Maggie Chui, 1215 K Street, Suite #1650, Sacramento, CA 955814 of the appointment.

DISCUSSION:
The Delegate and Alternate to the Board of Directors of RCRC, Golden State Finance Authority, and Golden State Connect Authority are appointed by their respective Board of Supervisors. The appointees serve on all three Boards and serve one-year terms beginning in January of each year.
Currently, Supervisor Rex Bohn is the Delegate on the RCRC/Golden State Finance Authority/Golden State Connect Authority Board of Directors and also serves as RCRC’s representative on the National Association of Counties (NACO) Western Interstate Region Board of Directors. Supervisor Michelle Bushnell is the current Alternate on the RCRC/Golden State Finance Authority/Golden State Connect Authority Board of Directors.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no financial impact to the General Fund as travel expenses on behalf of RCRC, GSFA and GSCA are covered by RCRC.
