DISCUSSION:
The Humboldt County Fish and Game Advisory Commission has reached out to the Board of Supervisors to discuss unpermitted cannabis grow site environmental cleanup issues. Their commission has presented a letter to the Board after several discussions in their own meetings. They have asked that the Board address two main concerns. The first is the accounting and timely reporting on the materials left on an abated grow site and the other is the restoration of the environment on these sites. By discussing and creating a framework that would be both easily accessed and understood, the clean up efforts on unpermitted cannabis grows could be more timely and more efficient.
