Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve, and ratify the County Administrative Officer’s execution of, AT&T Pricing Schedule #WK 1-JMVOOJL - MA Reference No. 201303122699UA as signed by the County Administrative Officer;
2. Approve, and authorize the County Administrative Officer, or a designee thereof, to execute, Pricing Schedule AT&T MA Reference No. 20130312-2269UAIII; and
3. Authorize the County Administrative Officer, or a designee thereof, to execute any and all subsequent extensions, modifications amendments and service changes to the AT&T Multi-Service Agreement, after review and approval by County Counsel and Risk Management.

DISCUSSION:
On March 12, 2013, the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors approved the AT&T Multi-Service Agreement. The AT&T Multi-Service Agreement is a universal agreement with no expiration date, but does include termination language. This agreement allows the County of Humboldt to purchase services which provides robust, reliable and high-availability telecommunications services at special negotiated rates.
Currently before the Board are the following two modifications to the AT&T Multi-Service Agreement:
• AT&T Pricing Schedule #WK 1-JMVOOJL - MA Reference No. 201303122699UA approves the 3-year pricing schedule for the Unified Communications Cisco Cloud and migration to the Cisco Cloud implementation charges.
• AT&T Pricing Schedule MA Reference No. 20130312-2269UAIII approves the purchase and implementation of the Intrado Revolution telephone paging system. This system will replace the legacy paging system that is no longer supported and will no longer function after the Unified Communications migration to the Cisco Cloud.
Staff recommends that the Board approve the attached pricing schedules, and authorize the County Administrative Officer, or a designee thereof, to execute any and all subsequent extensions, modifications amendments and service changes to the AT&T Multi-Service Agreement, after review and approval by County Counsel and Risk Management, in order to avoid any unnecessary delays in the provision of needed telecommunications services.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Funding for the attached pricing schedules has been included in the adopted fiscal year 2022-2023 budget for Information Technology budget unit 3550-118. Ongoing costs for the Intrado Revolution paging system will be $4,135 and will be charged out to appropriate departments through Information Technology Internal Service Fund charges.
STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK:
The recommended actions support the Board of Supervisors’ Strategic Framework by providing for and maintaining technological infrastructure.

ALTERNATIVES TO STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS:
Your Board may choose not to approve the attached pricing schedules. However, this alternative is not recommended as it would impact the timely provision of future AT&T services.
