That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve the attached supplemental budget in the amount of $235,914 for the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act Budget Unit (1100-202). (4/5 Vote Required)

DISCUSSION:
On March 11, 2025, the Humboldt County Probation Department brought an item to your Board requesting approval for a contract to extend a previously awarded grant term in order to allow the Boys and Girls Club of Humboldt County additional time with which to expend the grant funds awarded. That item neglected to include a supplemental budget, and this item is intended to remedy that oversight.

Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act - Fund 3741.

Narrative Explanation of Financial Impact:
The $235,914 will be coming from the Humboldt County Probation Department allocation of Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act (JJCPA) funding and was not originally included in the FY 2024-25 budget due to the grant term having ended.
