Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Receive a presentation from Volaire Aviation Consulting on the Economic Activity Analysis for California Redwood Coast- Humboldt County Airport (ACV) (Attachments 1); and
2. Accept and file the Economic Activity Analysis for California Redwood Coast- Humboldt County Airport (ACV).

DISCUSSION:
On Nov. 12, 2024, your board approved a professional services agreement with Volaire Aviation Consulting to provide air service consultation services. Included in this scope of work was the option to conduct an economic impact report. One July 1, 2025, the Volaire Agreement for Air Service Development, which includes the economic impact report, was amended to extend the term to June 30, 2026.
Considering that the California Redwood Coast-Humboldt County Airport is specifically identified in the Humboldt County Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) as an underutilized economic driver, it was determined that an economic impact study would be helpful in guiding future investments the airport.
Volaire has now completed the study and is here to present on the economic importance of the airport, acknowledge recent successes, and provide insight into future opportunities.
