DISCUSSION:
The Humboldt County Local Oral Health Program (LOHP) administrator, Sarah Vogel, was asked to speak and present at the Oral Health and Quality of Life for Older Adults convening in Sacramento CA on Sept. 18, 2025. This convening was hosted by the Center for Oral Health in conjunction with the California Northstate University, College of Dental Medicine. The Center for Oral Health would like to provide a donation to the county’s Oral Health Program for her efforts and participation in this event.
The DHHS-PHB Oral Health Program is asking the Board to accept this donation on behalf of the program pursuant to Government Code section 25355. The intended use of these funds is to help offset travel and staff time from this event.
