Recommendation

That the Board of Supervisors:

1.                     Consider making two at-large appointments and one alternate appointment to the Humboldt County Citizen’s Advisory Committee on Measure Z Expenditures.

DISCUSSION:

At the Jan. 7, 2025 Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board was informed of an unscheduled at-large vacancy on the Humboldt County Citizen’s Advisory Committee on Measure Z Expenditures due to the resignation of Bob Bronkall. 

 

At the Jan. 28, 2025 Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board was informed of a scheduled at-large vacancy on this committee due to the term expiration of Sue Long.

 

The vacancies were posted, and applications were accepted. Applications were received from Ron Dawson, Sue Long and Taylin Titus.   

 

The two at-large appointments shall serve a four-year term ending on Jan. 20, 2029.  The alternate appointment will fill the remainder of the term, with an expiration date of Jan. 20, 2028.

 

All appointed members of this committee will be required to comply with California Fair Political Practices Form 700 requirements and complete AB1234 Ethics training every two years.
