RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Continue discussion on the remaining appointments for 2024 ( Eel Russian River Commission, Klamath Basin Coordinating Council and the Trinity River Basin Fish & Wildlife Subcommittee);
2. Continue research on the formation, role and background of the Eel Russian River Commission. Keep the committee in place for calendar year 2024 with Supervisor Bohn as the Member and Supervisor Bushnell as the Alternate;
3. Continue research on the status of the Klamath Basin Coordinating committee. Keep the committee in place for calendar year 2024 with Supervisor Madrone as the Member and Supervisor Wilson as the Alternate;
4. Continue research on the status of Trinity River Basin Fish & Wildlife Subcommittee. Keep the committee in place for calendar year 2024 with Supervisor Madrone and Supervisor Wilson as the Members; and
5. Approve the appointments list of Board Members to various boards, commissions and committees for calendar year 2024 as modified.

DISCUSSION:
At the Dec. 5, 2023 Board of Supervisors Meeting your Board reviewed a list of prior year Boards, Commissions, and Committee appointments and recommended appointments for the upcoming calendar year 2024. However, there were several appointments that needed follow up and further discussion. Those recommendations are listed above.
