STAFFING IMPACT:
An additional fleet vehicle may have some impact to Public Works staff time in Motor Pool for any future maintenance or repairs needed on the service truck. However, the department is aware of the pending donation and facilitated the purchase of the vehicle.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
None
ALTERNATIVES TO STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS:
Your Board could choose to not approve this donation, however that is not recommended as it would require CAO-Comms to arrange for maintenance and insurance that can be more efficiently and economically provided by County Motor Pool and Risk Management.
